2026 Topps Chrome Black Baseball Hobby Box
Chrome Black is back, and the dark aesthetic is sharper than ever. This is one of the more distinctive products in the baseball card calendar — matte chrome, clean modern design, and some of the most visually striking autographs you'll pull all year.
Each box packs 13 total cards across 2 packs of 6, plus a guaranteed encased On-Card Autograph as the 13th card. Every pack includes a numbered parallel, so you're pulling something serialized every single time you open one.
What's in the box:
- 2 packs | 6 cards per pack
- 2 Numbered Parallels (1 per pack)
- 1 Encased On-Card Autograph
- 1 Base Rookie Design Variation per case
What to chase:
Returning sets: Depth of Darkness (shadow box short prints), Pitch Black Dual Pairing Autographs (/30), Super Futures Autographs (/99), and Ivory Autographs (/50 or less)
New this year: Damascus SPs — inspired by Damascus Steel blade patterns — and Paint It! Autographs, where players sign in white ink on a black signing area. Genuinely one of the coolest-looking auto concepts in recent memory. Home Field also makes its Chrome Black debut, featuring the famous Short Print on unique card technology.
Parallel depth runs deep — base cards go from Refractor /199 all the way down to SuperFractor 1/1, with Rose Gold /10, Red /5, and multiple Mini Diamond and Wave variants in between.
Box Configuration:
- 2 packs per box | 6 cards per pack
- 1 Encased On-Card Auto per box
- 12 boxes per case | 1 Base Rookie Design Variation per case
